Compassionate, individualized, and evidence-based therapy for kids ages 4-12
For little minds, the challenges of growing up can feel really big.
Little Minds Therapy is a specialty practice exclusive to pre-school and elementary-age children.
We work directly with parents and kids to equip them with the tools they need to tackle life’s biggest challenges.
Anxiety and fear of the unknown can affect your child's emotions, behaviors, and social skills. It can lead to avoidance, distress, and challenges with everyday activities.
Impulsivity influences how your child behaves and makes decisions. It might lead to difficulties staying focused, maintaining control, and navigating social interactions.
Excessive aggression and defiance present a challenge for any parent. Often, these stubborn behaviors are clues that there are deeper emotional struggles underneath
Inflexibility can make it tough for your child to handle changes and adapt to new situations. They might struggle with adjusting to different experiences or shifting routines and expectations.
Highly sensitive children feel emotions very deeply and may react strongly to various stimuli. They can be easily overwhelmed and need some extra support to navigate their feelings and environment.
Navigating social interactions and situations aren’t easy for every kid. Your child might find it tough to pick up on social cues, communicate smoothly, or build connections with others.
Growing up is hard - let us help you and your child build the skills to make everyday moments feel a little bit easier.
We offer focused expertise to help children and their families navigate the dynamic changes they face as they learn, grow, and explore.
Our strategy begins with creating a connection through games, activities, and fun. Play helps us build the trust we need to learn new skills.
We identify stumbling blocks and equip you with the tools and skills you need to succeed. We focus on repeatable strategies that you can implement at home or in other challenging situations.
Success needs to be sustainable. We break problems down and tackle them piece by piece in order to increase confidence and create lasting change.
Founder, LCSW-C
I am profoundly passionate about working with children who have Big Feelings and Big Reactions. These children are wired to feel deeply and react strongly. As a deeply feeling child myself (and now a deeply feeling adult), I possess a unique ability to decipher childrens' emotional experiences and the motivating factors behind their choices. This is the driving force behind my practice.
Our passion is working with kids and families to provide support and guidance.
