About Me

Clare Cutler

LMSW

I take a collaborative, child- and family-centered approach to therapy, ensuring that I meet the unique needs of both the child, and the family as a whole. I have received specialized training in both directive and non-directive play therapy. I also draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, including expressive arts therapies, CBT, EMDR, and ACT, to create a customized experience for each child.

My journey in child development began as a preschool teacher, where I earned an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Development followed by my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Towson University. I later completed my Master of Social Work at Boston University. Over the years, I’ve gained experience supporting children and families through challenges such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, trauma, life transitions, and social difficulties. Above all, my goal is to help parents and children navigate life’s ups and downs, fostering self-awareness, resilience, and joy as they build happy, healthy futures together.

When I'm not working, you can find me out hiking with my dog, spending time baking, and playing board games with friends and family.
